The Summer of 5765/2005 marks the first great dispersion of the tight-knit Albany chevra, Maimonides students who began the Chevra Mishnayos and then moved up into Chevra Shass and then into Albany Mesivta with Rabbi Mendel. At one of the last farbrengens before leaving off to various Yeshivos around the world, it was decided that there had to be a way to communicate and keep in touch - and that an online message board would be the best way to do it.
