Rubin of Capital Region Chabad presents Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver
and members of the State Assembly with a Henry-Hudson Menorah Boat made by
the Maimonides School of Albany NY that was "retro-fitting" with trees
blossoming with Tu-Bishvat themed fruit.
Rabbi Rubin introduced his "Tu Bishvat
Stimulus Package" with the Jewish New Year for Trees theme of rebirth and
growth even during the harsh winter months, when no growth is visible on
the leafless trees, but within a rejuvenating and invigorating sap begins
to flow inside the trees.
