Little Moshe is Rabbi Abba and Rochie Rubin's (directors of Saratoga Chabad) first child, and many friends in the community came over to celebrate his first birthday.

Aside for being a wonderful event for a child, the Lubavitcher Rebbe encouraged everyone to make their birthdays special by making them meaningful milestones for spiritual growth and renewed dedication. In addition to the birthday hats, cake and presents, Moshe's birthday party included Mitzvah opportunities with children reciting Torah passages, and giving Tzedakah.
