The Kosher Food Concession
operated by Saratoga Chabad sold freshly-made Felafel (pita bread filled
with diced veggies, and fried ground chickpea balls, covered with tahini
sauce) and also burgers and hotdogs, along with drinks and candy-nosh.
Turtle Mountain, makers of Soy-Delicious
Kosher Pareve and Vegan Ice-Cream provided hundreds of free samples for
festival-goers to taste. People loved the taste and texture and could not
believe it wasn't dairy. Here a taster checks the ingredients just to be
sure!
