Saratoga
Chabad at the
annual Victorian Walk - 2003
Thousands of people stroll down
Broadway in Saratoga Springs for the Annual Victorian Walk. Though before
Chanukah, Chabad has a visible presence at the gala event, to share holiday
and Mitzvah awareness and to promote Jewish pride and identity.
A group of friends pose by
the giant Dreidel
especially built for this occasion.
Many Jews who would not attend a
synagogue stop by at the Chanukah table and quite a few Jewish connections
and opportunities were made possible because of the booth at the Victorian
Walk.
The display and table were placed outside the
prominent Algonquin Building on Broadway, a well-traveled location along the
walk.
A family gets "Torah
Stickers" and
enjoys the Pre-Chanukah spirit.
Many enjoyed the sizzling
Latkes and the Hot Cider
offered by Chabad on this cold night...
