Thank you to friends and family who have joined us in a special personal
celebration of little Moshe Rubin's first birthday. All the community feels
like family. We hope to soon post pictures of this party.
In addition to a festive Purim
meal and several Megillah Readings, this year also featured an
innovative Purim Bus, which
visited the area's Hebrew Schools and brought smiles all over on the Sunday
before Purim. Thank you to Yaakov Backman of Maimonides in Albany for the
expert Megillah Reading and joyous holiday spirit.
On Sunday, February 23rd, we enjoyed the music of Richard Samuels, a Jazz
and Chassidic Pianist, who played selections from his recent CD "Music of
Our Souls" as well as from his CD "Green Light" a Brazillian Jazz
collection. It was an enjoyable and uplifting evening.
