Sunday, June 29th:

Noted Author and Educator, Mrs. Malka Touger

Malka Touger, teacher and lecturer, speaks on marriage enrichment, women’s issues, Taharas Hamishpacha, education and the role of Jewish women. A mother of seven, her insights on marriage, family, education and woman’s issues are not abstract ideas, but principles applied in her own home. Together with her husband, author and translator, Eliyahu Touger, she helped pioneer and nurture the development of the Torah community in the Jerusalem suburb, Har Nof.

She serves as the Dean of Machon Shoshanas Yerushalayim, a seminary for women within the Chabad community. She is author of several best-selling books in English and Hebrew, including Sefer Hamitzvot for Youth. Me’am Lo’ez for Youth (Ruth and Esther) and Limericks for Jewish Children. She has co-authored The Secret of Jewish Femininity, To Know and To Care and Straight From the Heart. She is also the publisher of My Little Siddur.

Mrs. Touger has also produced a number of educational videos in both languages, including: I Am a Chassid, Hand in Hand, Life of Hillel, Beyond the Wall, A Tour of the Second Temple and In the Paths of Love and Honor (Taharas Hamishpacha), An Island in Time (Shabbos), and Kashrus in the Jewish Home. She has released a series of audio tapes entitled Enhancing Intimacy, which convey the Jewish perspective on this sensitive issue.
