Teenage girls from as far away as Montreal, Philadelphia and New Jersey, and as close as New York State and Saratoga enjoyed a fabulous ten-day winter camp at Saratoga Chabad.

Exciting trips included: Skiing on mountain slopes, ice and roller skating, sledding and tubing, bowling, tour of historic springs, Saratoga Beads and more!

Special Night Activities and Talent Shows, Arts & Crafts, Races and Scavenger Hunts added to the non-stop excitement and activities.

Dedicated camp counselors Rivky Levitansky and Gitty Kagan worked together with Rabbi Abba & Rochie Rubin of Saratoga Chabad to make the most of each moment, for a most memorable ten-days.

Guest Rabbis from Upstate NY taught our learning groups, with topics including: Shabbos, Kosher, Love of our Fellows, Holy Sites and Prayer, Tzedakah and a series on Jewish Women.

Other Highlights included: Chinese Auction, Israeli Dancing, Fit the Puzzle, Late Night Tea Times, Friday Night Sing-a-long, and The Purim Story.

From Campers' Letters:

"No matter how little sleep Rivky and Gitty got, they were always upbeat and cheerful. They ran on Joy and Spirit. The best part about camp is that we always did everything together!" D.M.

"Nothing was better than staying up late, talking to each other and reading poems and stories." D.L.S.

"This was an absolutely amazing time. I'll never forget it. It has taught me so many life lessons and so much about being Jewish. Please keep in touch!" C.

"I had no idea we were going to do so many things. It was also good to have the quiet times when we had a chance to chat and get to know each other better. I am amazed that we made such good friends in such a short time." C.M.

"Working together made things go quicker. I never went snow-tubing before and that was lots of fun. D.S.
