Dr Laz is a Hassidic Jew, a special education teacher (author of "Skullcaps and Switchblades"), outdoorsman, and founder of Project Cure! a unique grassroots organization that strives to improve understanding and cooperation in our multi-ethnic society.
Dr. Laz and Project Cure have been featured on Montell Williams, ESPN, Donahue, and other national venues. A showtime original movie starring Howie Mandel as Dr. Laz is coming soon.
The concert/workshop event is co-sponsored by Saratoga Chabad, along with Office of Jewish Student Life and the Jewish Student Union at Skidmore, and the Schenectady chapter of Bnai Brith..
